Mindstorm

A fearsome & fantastic journey to the heart of the Savage Id.

Name:
Location: Invisible City, North Dakota, United States

Read my book, The Mind-Warp Era. It'll tell you about the real Lead--& his alter-ego, the true Rootboy covered with slime (the Savage Id). Partly a poignant memoir, partly a cosmicomic book, it relays the Id's adventures thru dark dimensions of funereal dread, with Timothy Leary as co-pilot. (The rumors of his death have been greatly exaggerated.)

Sunday, Monday, happy daze...

...yeah, I wish I could get into a submarine daze, stumble across the parking match of the Invisible 7-11, & pick up a can of nutmeg. There is nothing more vile or depraved than a gonzo in the throes of a nutmeg binge!

Which I haven't been on since Spice freaked out my then girlfriend, Trish, & she wound up perpetually making trips up to BH upon the hill, shadows of the trees, whispering in the wild breeze... yes, I know, I planned a sequel to Andy Morlock, but Tim hasn't pushed the envelope since he went outside, looking in.

So Trish slept inordinately on Sunday morning, with the alarm set for 8:00 (Synthroid) & 9:00 (remainder). We mosty just hung around the house, devoid of the soup kitchen & the Layout.

Then Kimothy Kame. Trish was very polite to her, & I finally gave her our phone number. & then she had to split because she had no time to waste!

That evening we went to bed early, to see Charlene yesterday. After that, we walked over to the Invisible post office to have our mail held, the bank to take out money for our trip, & Social Security, to drop off her wage stubs -- some guy there was thoroughly descoobied on Ol' Stogie, the beer that tastes like a cheap cigar, & the security cop had to kick him out. We ate at the soup kitchen, where some bozo preacher talked fire & brimstone.

Then I got a Toli note with the title, "Message not accepted", which caused me to think Toli was the Bozo King. I fumed & fretted, then Fred called so I asked for a ride out to Ben Franklin's for some spray-varnish (the spray-pointer fell off the can) & some new brushes.

After supper -- chicken & scalped potatoes -- & some clean-up during which I played keyboards -- we played disc #2 of the boxed set of The 2 Towers. I guess Trish is finally going to let me start watching what I want to -- when the screen is becoming blurrier & blurrier.

Then today, right when I started to get ready for my bath, Karen rang the bell. We're going out for breakfast tomorrow, & she's giving us extra money for the trip. Car-girl will be driving us in her car, v'room! v'room! & then we'll be in the sea of clouds.
